Evaluation
of “the Excellence Initiative – Research University” Programme 2020-2025
The Excellence Initiative – Research University Programme has provided the university with comprehensive development in the areas of conducting scientific research, disseminating research results, strengthening international cooperation, and supporting academic development, particularly at its early stages.
The ongoing evaluation study is being conducted using three evaluation criteria: effectiveness, usefulness, and sustainability. Each criterion relates to all objectives of the IDUB programme, grouped into five areas: strengthening research (and publications), cooperation with international research centres, improving the quality of education, professional development of staff, and institutional governance.
The perspective of beneficiaries collected through the study makes it possible to assess the usefulness of the activities undertaken from the perspective of the University community. This will help not only to summarise the activities carried out to date, but also to draw conclusions for the future, particularly in the context of designing solutions supporting academic career development at Warsaw University of Technology.
The study is addressed to all target groups — students, doctoral candidates, and employees of Warsaw University of Technology — which provides a rich basis for developing coherent solutions.
